Thanks for chairing the meeting today. I thought we covered a lot of ground.
I also think we accomplished a lot in lining up speakers and topics for ’08.
I think that we would be well served by having an ‘interest level’ in our communications with potential members.
Some people may want to hear from us regularly—once a quarter or even once a month. Some much less often--only once or twice a hear.
If we can keep from annoying people of peripheral interest until they get more acquainted with the value of the organization, I think it would serve us well.
One idea is to arrange for a behind-the-scenes tour of the new Segerstrom hall and the performing arts center. They might even have an interest in letting us know about upcoming events. Seems like business people would be part of their target market.
