OCMA board members Bill Chapman and Hal Halladay joined Capter President David Bradford in attending the BYU Management Society’s 2006 Annual Management Society Leadership Conference on September 28th and 29th on campus in Provo.
The conference provides training and communication between the Marriott School Management and the Management Society and its alumni chapters. David, Bill and Hal attended several sessions that will help make our chapter in Orange County better (Hal and Bill are shown below in photo from phone).![]()
Of his experience at the conference, Hal said, “It was a great opportunity to meet people from other chapters and to hear of their successes as well as their challenges. There are so many great members of this organization. It was an excellent reminder of the reach that BYU and the Marriott School have across world.”
Bill Chapman, who also serves on the Management Society Steering Committee in addition to the OCMA board found that the conference was a meaningful reminder of the Management Society’s vision of “Growing moral and ethical leadership around the world.”
Our own OCMA blog was a topic of discussion as BYU considers it as a tool that all chapters may want to use.
